H-Net, Humanities and Social Sciences Online
H-Net is a discussion board with "over 100 free electronic, interactive newsletters ("lists").  The goals of H-Net lists are to enable scholars to easily communicate current research and teaching interests; to discuss new approaches, methods and tools of analysis; to share information on electronic databases; and to test new ideas and share comments on the literature in their fields."

SWIP-L:  Society for Women In Philosophy
Discussion list dedicated to feminist philosophy.  "The messages on this list are often informational in nature: calls for papers in feminist philosophy, announcements of SWIP meetings and other conferences, requests for references or information, etc."
